Our Vision

How can technology and social impact be meaningfully combined in a digitalized world?
Steuerbot was founded in 2017 by longtime friends Jochen Schöllig, Marc Neumann, and Waldemar Wunder.
Driven by the idea of bringing more social justice to the German tax system, the vision of a simple tax return app was born.

Filing your tax return should no longer be a hurdle to claiming what is rightfully yours.
Technology should not be an end in itself but rather a tool to improve people's lives.
We believe that money is a vital key to a more carefree future.
In 2019, Steuerbot helped users reclaim over 80 million euros in tax refunds.

We treat everyone on the team fairly, offering plenty of freedom and autonomy to create something extraordinary.
We usually spend lunch breaks together, as well as other activities.
Playing table tennis is our favorite way to relax, clearing our minds for fresh ideas.
